Your property listing page gives you the opportunity to tell potential swapping partners all about your holiday home. We recommend including as much information about your property and the area as possible. Information on the area, location, local amenities, places of interest etc. The more detail you provide, the more offers you're likely to receive for holiday home swaps. Nobody knows your property like you do. After all, it's your holiday home! Tell others all it's benefits so that they can enjoy staying in it as much as you do. BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This is the description that will be viewed by other members in the Search Properties results. You have 20 words or less to describe your holiday homes key features. See Listing Examples for inspiration.

HOME DESCRIPTION
The Membership Application form asks you to describe your holiday home property in 150 words or less. We advise that you include a description of the bedrooms, the number and size of the beds in each room, whether sofa beds or babies cots are available. Mention entertainment equipment, kitchen equipment, air conditioning or heating. Include details of the outside area, garden, terraces, pool area and car parking.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION
We also ask you to describe the location in 150 words or less. Provide travel information, for example the nearest airport and how far away it is. What is public transport like? Is a car necessary? Describe exactly where your property is and the benefits of the location. For example the proximity to the beach and other places of interest. How far is it to the shops, bars and restaurants?

LOCAL ACTIVITIES
In this section you can include any local sporting activities, golf, skiing, scuba diving, boat trips etc.
Mention local attractions and places of interest.

LISTING TIPS
Describe your holiday home honestly in your property listing.

Include clear photographs in your listing that show your holiday home to its best advantage. After all, nothing tells a story like a photograph. When selecting photographs to be included in your property listing, bear in mind that potential swapping partners will want to see both the exterior and interior of your holiday home.

Add a link to your own property web page. Holiday home owners that rent or let their holiday homes usually have a website. Therefore, we are happy to allow our members to add a link to their own property website free of charge. We feel that it will benefit all our members, as they will be able to view more photos, learn more details and verify the normal rental rates.

You have an opportunity to specify destinations that interest you and dates when your holiday home is available as well as your preferred dates for taking a holiday. When adding your desired destinations, you can be as specific or as vague as you like. If you are open to offers please state 'Anywhere considered' in your listing. You can state an area such as the Caribbean or North America or you can be more specific and name a destination such as Barbados or Clearwater. It's up to you!

As for 'Desired Dates' the more flexible you are, the more enquiries you are likely to receive.
