The concept of holiday home swapping is very simple.
Rather than pay for accommodation when you travel, you can swap time in your own holiday home for a stay in another members'. All Swapandstay.com members' properties are holiday homes, not primary residences. Therefore, unlike residential home exchange schemes, swaps are easy to arrange and do not have to be simultaneous.

Here's how it works:-

• Members of Swapandstay.com list their normal rental rates in their property listing.
  
• Members are not required to swap holiday homes simultaneously.
  
• Members do not have to swap 'Like for Like'.
  
• Members do not have to swap for identical periods of time.
  
• Members agree a swap period and total up each members rental rates for the swapping period.
  
• If there is a difference in the totals, just make a simple cash adjustment.
  
• Swap one week for two weeks
